All JBL, Infinity, Milennia&SeaWorthy Products have a 1 yr. warranty
Prospec Electronics (the Company) warrants to the original purchaser of the Prospec Electronics product if it proves to be defective within 1 YEAR from the date of purchase, it will be repaired or replaced (at the discretion of the Company), without charge to the owner. To obtain repairs or replacements within the terms of this warranty, return the product, prepaid shipping to the Company, with Proof of Purchase. Proof of Purchase is subject to verification, which if not possible, may void the warranty. Purchasing through unauthorized third party websites, such as, eBay, Amazon, Tiger Direct, New Egg, and Price Falls, may void warranty.
This warranty does not extend to the elimination of static or motor noise, correction of antenna problems, costs incurred in the removal or reinstallation of the unit, or damage to CDs, tapes, speakers, accessories, or electrical systems. This warranty does not apply to any product or part thereof, which has been misused, abused, neglected, altered, in an accident, connected to an unsupported product, or which has been used in violation of the operating instructions. Exposure to excessive moisture and direct spray may void warranty.
Prospec Electronics strongly recommends the use of a protective cover or housing for stereos where appropriate and those that were not intended for direct water exposure.
ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY IS LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS WRITTEN WARRANTY; IN NO EVENT SHALL THE COMPANY BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR LOSSES RESULTING FROM THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THIS PRODUCT.
The warranty gives you specific legal rights, which vary from state to state. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations may not apply to you.
Five-Year Protection Plan (JBL, Infinity, Milennia, and SeaWorthy Stereos Only).
As an extended guarantee, beyond the first year and for the period of an additional four years, the company will repair or replace a defective stereo with a new or reconditioned model for a predetermined, single flat rate charge. Exclusions to this repair guarantee is obvious abuse or neglect, such as; cosmetic damage due to mishandling or harsh chemicals, corrosion, improper installation or alteration causing the stereo to become defective, and exposure to water or use for which the stereo is not designed, wherein the repair charge may be higher.
In the event that your stereo becomes defective, Initiate a Warranty Claim (above) as an End Consumer and choose the Standard Claim option. Once completed, please print the packing slip to include with your stereo, as this will contain your return shipping information as well as Return Authorization number. Alternatively, if printing the packing slip is not possible, simply write your RA number, Name, and Return Address on paper to include with the stereo.
Return the stereo, prepaid, to The Prospec Electronics (address is on the packing slip) accompanied by a copy of your sales receipt, packing slip/RA number/contact information, and a check or money order payable in US currency, to Prospec Electronics, Inc., in the amount applicable for your unit’s model number shown in the fee schedule below. Feel free to email firstname.lastname@example.org if your model stereo is not on this schedule. FOR YOUR SECURITY, PLEASE DO NOT SEND CASH OR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION IN THE MAIL OR EMAIL CREDIT CARD INFORMATION. If the desired payment method is Credit Card or total charges are uncertain, do not include payment with your stereo. We will contact you for payment once the evaluation is completed.
Once received, we will evaluate the stereo to determine the appropriate course of action. In the event that we cannot validate the stereo as defective or we need more information, we will contact you. Prospec, at its discretion, will repair or replace the unit and return it prepaid (continental US only).If the stereo is not repairableand is a discontinued model, we will replace it with a stereo having similar features and performance.If we find the stereo is not defective, we will return it, no charge to the customer.
